Riccardo Barbanti holds a degree in Marine Environmental Science from the University of Genoa (2002). He is at the Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS) since April 2003 where he is currently a Post-doc Researcher.
Main field of interests: Ocean circulation. Lagrangian oceanography (drifters and float), Changes of the thermohaline properties in the Mediterranean Sea.
