A low cost oceangoing mother ship and a remotely operated underwather vehicle (ROV) for scientific seabed investigation.

DAEDALUS is a state of the art catamaran specially developed and built for worldwide underwather exploration. DAEDALUS has ample space available for operations, she is a very stable platform for underwather equipment support and she offers leisure class accomodations for seven, plus skipper and a crew of two. The catamaran DAEDALUS allow dynamic positioning in up to 20 knots of wind, deployment of the PLUTO ROW, seabed exploration down to 400m, very accurate position recording and still picture taking or haigh quality TV recording, including macro views of benthos organisms. Dept range can be extended to 1000m with PLUTO PLUS.
